Service Description
GSN offers PGD for both aneuploidy and disease-linked genes. Both tests can be performed simultaneously from a single cell, with accuracy greater than 99%.
Testing for disease-linked genes is offered in three steps, designed to address the following questions:
- Pre-Testing
What genetic testing should the parents consider based on family history? - Parent Testing
For what genetic diseases is the embryo at-risk based on test results from the parents? - Embryo Testing
What are the genetic disease susceptibilities of the embryo?
Aneuploidy testing covers all 24 chromosomes and can be performed either in conjunction with disease-linked gene analysis, or as a standalone test. In many cases, aneuploidy screening is recommended as a means of improving the chance of implantation.
