Service Description

GSN offers PGD for both aneuploidy and disease-linked genes. Both tests can be performed simultaneously from a single cell, with accuracy greater than 99%.

Testing for disease-linked genes is offered in three steps, designed to address the following questions:

  1. Pre-Testing
What genetic testing should the parents consider based on family history?
  2. Parent Testing
For what genetic diseases is the embryo at-risk based on test results from the parents?
  3. Embryo Testing
What are the genetic disease susceptibilities of the embryo?

Aneuploidy testing covers all 24 chromosomes and can be performed either in conjunction with disease-linked gene analysis, or as a standalone test. In many cases, aneuploidy screening is recommended as a means of improving the chance of implantation.
