GSN’s technology development has been funded by its founders, private investors, and government grants. We’ve received a number of grants from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in addition to investment from partners and industry-leading venture capital firms.

Our venture backing comes from:

• Claremont Creek Ventures; a venture capital firm focusing on the interface between informatics and life sciences
• Sequoia Capital; a mainstay of the venture capital world which led investments in some of today’s leading technology companies
• Alafi Capital; a private venture capital firm that has been active in healthcare investing for over 25 years
